When you visit our Studio you want the time here to be enjoyable and relaxing. We have always prided ourselves on the experience we offer our clients and have therefore gone to great lengths to ensure that you still receive this amazing experience in the utmost of safety.
We are a small, family-run, business so it is incredibly important to us that our clients are happy. We will ensure that we communicate with you before and during your visits to us. Upon booking, Sarah will talk you through everything and answer any queries or concerns you may have. During your visit, David will guide you through every step and make you feel at ease.
We have detailed below the steps we have taken to ensure a safe opening of our Studio. These will be reviewed on a daily basis. We want you all to stay safe, we want our family to stay safe, so we appreciate your understanding during these times. Communication
All clients will be briefed of our safety measures before they visit our Studio and an email will be sent out. We also have signage outside and inside of the Studio to communicate with visitors and re-assure them. And importantly, when families visit us, we will communicate everything verbally during the session and make everyone feel at ease. Studio Cleaning Policy
Our Studio is deep cleaned at the start or end of every day and in between each visiting family all surfaces are sanitised thoroughly. Any Studio props used during a session are sanitised and any Studio blankets/throws are used once per family and then washed.
We have changed our bookings times for clients to visit us for their Portrait or Viewing in order for us to ensure a half-hour gap between each family so that we can sanitise. This is also to ensure that there is no contact between visiting families. We have also introduced appointment-only collections for this reason.
Every effort will be made to uphold the 2-metre social distancing policy at all time. This means there will be a few changes in how we welcome our clients and instruct you during your session:
Our entrance door will be on the latch so we will let you in when you arrive
We cannot shake your hands unfortunately but we will welcome you with a smile, step back and let you enter our reception area safely
Your photographer will keep a safe distance at all times, but you will always be within talking distance
During your Portrait Session your photographer will not be able to physically adjust any of your poses for example, but will talk you through any adjustments that need making, like an item of clothing hanging incorrectly, a strand of hair in the wrong place or child's toy incorrectly placed!
All members of staff at Sub Studio are required to wash their hands thoroughly for a minimum period of 20 seconds prior to every appointment and appropriate hand wash is available for them and clients. There are also two additional hand sanitising stations located on the Studio premises, these are hands-free and all clients will be asked to sanitise their hands upon arrival.
All members of staff at Sub Studio will be monitoring their health daily, which includes temperature checking. We also require all families due to visit our Studio to disclose:
If they have any symptoms of COVID-19
If they have been in contact with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19
If they have had a test for COVID-19 within the last 48 hours
We will re-arrange any sessions or viewings if any of the above apply.
Disposable gloves and face coverings are located in the Studio should they be deemed necessary.
We have made the decision to temporarily stop offering hot drinks at this time, however we now have a new water station which means that your Photographer can safely offer you a cold drink. This water station is deep cleaned at the end of each day and is only operated by your photographer. We are using bio-degradable paper cups to ensure there is no cross contamination.
